Slick Modern Vietnamese Homes That Nail The Look

Slick Modern Vietnamese Homes That Nail The Look

Four modern Vietnamese homes, four slick decor schemes set to inspire, designed and visualised by Labaco. We’ll take a tour through each one to gather just what it is that nails the look. Home number one is a solid scheme, tickled with upbeat colourful accent pieces that build an energised atmosphere. The second inspirational home interior is a picture of smooth and simplified modernity, with beachy colour infusions of sand, pebble and sky blue. The third stop we’ll make will be to a home with chilled blue-grey accents mixed with warming wood, and our last is prolific in pattern. We’ll also find inspiration for modern furniture styles, cosy room layouts, and a clever concept for a hidden guest bedroom.

Spicy red and yellow cushions add flavour to a grey sofa in home number one. The light living room is given bold personality by a jet black ceiling treatment, which holds the entire open plan together. A brown leather-look round coffee table brings a dose of sophistication to the centre of the lounge, whilst a modern rocking chair chimes a laid-back note.

  • 2 |
Indoor plants grow natural energy in the room, and provide centrepieces for the dining table and coffee table. Marble panels put texture across the TV wall.

  • 3 |
A linear chandelier stretches over a modern dining set, which is fashioned in contrasting natural wood and black finishes. A wooden serving bench connects the dining table with a luxe white marble encased kitchen island.

  • 5 |
A wooden insert occupies the other side of the kitchen island, and a wooden dining bench takes up the other side of the dining table.

  • 6 |
A glass wall bedroom design helps the whole apartment feel more spacious and light. Inside the bedroom, a winged platform bed matches the aesthetic of the leather-look coffee table in the lounge. The unusual bedside table lamp is the Flos Snoopy Lamp.

  • 7 |
There is a second glass wall bedroom too, which has a desk/dressing table area. Beautiful pink furniture and accessories colour the room.

  • 8 |
Floor plan. Built-in closets keep storage streamlined inside the two glass wall bedrooms.

  • 9 |
The white living room in home tour two is a smooth example of simplified modern elegance. Beachy colour infusions of sea and sky blue, warm sand, and cool pebble come together to evoke a sense of refreshing calm.

  • 10 |
The floor area of the kitchen is also the home entryway, so a minimalist approach leaves a clear welcoming zone.

  • 11 |
The sky blue living room wall forms a tranquil backdrop for a Vietnamese altar. A slim wooden screen separates the ancestral altar from the necessary tv wall. Similar wood tones are employed to visually blend the home’s essential elements.

  • 12 |
Wooden ceiling fans cool the home, amidst a prolific scattering of recessed spotlights.

  • 13 |
The L-shaped kitchen has light units at its base, wood grain upper cabinets add natural flair.

  • 14 |
Decorative vases bring colour to a console table in the home entryway, where there is hidden shoe storage.

  • 15 |
Our third home design has the same living room footprint as the latter. This time, a straight grey modern sofa wings out behind a round coffee table stood on stripes.

  • 16 |
A combination of different colour cushions dress the sofa, and large areas of wood tone visually warm the room. Made-to-measure bookcases cover almost the entire sofa wall, with volumes of concealed storage spaced between.

  • 17 |
The Vietnamese altar is given the same pride of place again. This time, a shot of blue colours the TV cabinet beneath the wall mounted screen.

  • 18 |
Abundant floor space in the kitchen is allocated as a dining spot this time around.A blue-grey cushioned dining bench gives the set a casual comfy vibe.

  • 19 |
White kitchen cabinets draw a stacked L-shape around the dining area, with cut-out wooden handles pinpointing every unit.

  • 21 |
The glass wall bedroom can be used as a solo master suite, or divided into two separate bedrooms when having house guests over to stay.

  • 22 |
Bifold obscure glass doors split the space and provide privacy, whilst allowing natural light to pass.

  • 23 |
When the guest bed is not in use, it folds away so the master suite may have its own sitting room.

  • 24 |
Powder pink cushions embellish the little sofa. A sideboard and stylish tray table complete the composition.

  • 25 |
A bespoke headboard storage unit acts as a bedside shelf for a lamp, and a soothing painting. One end of it even becomes a small desk in front of the window, right by a built-in bookcase.

  • 27 |
Grey bedclothes dress the guest room.

  • 28 |
Unique geometric tiles create a dot-like pattern around the wet zone of the mood-lit shower room design. Large concrete tiles fill the rest.

  • 29 |
A modern wood effect vanity unit ups the visual temperature, brown bathroom towels complement its tone.

  • 30 |
In an alternative visualisation of the bathroom, geo tiles are replaced with classic square tiles, plus a more basic vanity and mirror set.

  • 31 |
The vessel basin is replaced by a sunken sink in the marble countertop.

  • 32 |
Finally, in home tour four we’re met with eye-catching pattern and the emerald greenery of indoor plants.

  • 33 |
Victorian-style floral tiles make a statement in the entryway, whilst a tribal pattern rug strikes chevrons through the lounge.

  • 35 |
Beechwood adds light notes to the room.

  • 36 |
A black ceiling fan is neatly contained within a recess.

  • 37 |
The one wall grey and white kitchen design has a classic elegance, which is complemented by the same stunning floor tiles as in the home entryway.

  • 38 |
White subway tiles build a subtle backsplash.

  • 39 |
‘Love’ posters decorate the master bedroom.

  • 40 |
The modern dressing table has a wooden top to tie in with wardrobe louvre doors.
